‘Bird Woman’. Performed at the Lighthorse open air festival event, Acton Scott Farm Museum, Shropshire using pre-devised sound track of native birdsong, binoculars, bird book and bird watching stool.

‘String Dreams’. Performed at the SHIFTI festival of cross-arts improvisation in Warwick and also at ‘Scratch’ night @BAC

‘Flow Ting’. Performed at Sunday Surprises (improv performance club) at Moving Arts Base, London.

Guest storytelling musician (with violin/mandolin/melodica/harmonium/percussion) for storytelling performances and participatory sessions. Frequent collaborations with fellow musician Malcolm Bruce.

With Theatre and Dance

Puppet (R)Evolution: Devised live music accompaniment (solo violin) for “Hooray for Hollywood” production at Little Angel Theatre. Performed by Tinka Slavicek, Raven Kaliana, Andy Jones, Clara Giraud, and Mel Scott, puppet design by Raven Kaliana, lighting design by Valentina Tamiolaki. 
The story is set within the exploitative child pornography industry and is revealed in flashes and glimpses from a child’s vantage point, through tabletop puppetry and shadow puppetry. Based on a true story, the child puppets expressively convey both the sense of entrapment and the potential to transcend these circumstances. www.hoorayforhollywood.co.uk 

Guy Dartnell: Devised and improvised live music and sound for Guy’s solo devised show ‘Unsung’ (using acoustic and electric violins and percussion). Performed at BAC, toured Midlands and North and in the British Council showcase at Edinburgh Fringe. 02, 03 and 04. Improvised voice, violin and movement research project with Guy at BAC as part of his Choreographic Lab participation.

Heart n’ Soul: Assistant director and performer in “Going Off” devised and improvised music theatre production with members of Heart n’ Soul, director Guy Dartnell, Pete Flood and Ricky Jodelko at Albany Theatre and BAC.

Wonderful Beast Theatre Company: Music Director and Performer for devised music theatre production of ‘Tatterhood’, a Norwegian fairytale. Show runs in London and Highland and Island tours. (Performed with acoustic and electric violins, celtic harp, percussion and voice) 02 and 03.

Apocryphal Theatre Company:“Besides, You Lose Your Soul, or a history of Western Civilisation” and “The Jesus Guy”: performer and musician in 2 productions written and directed by Julia Lee Barclay. Interdisciplinary and improvised performances and productions at Camden People’s Theatre, the Tate Modern, recorded for ResonanceFM 06 - ongoing (playing violin, melodica and using voice and movement).

ESP (Experiments in Spontaneous Performance): one-off performances (including Spontaneous Festival, Lyon; SHIFTI Festival, Warwick) and runs of shows and research project with interdisciplinary arts improvising ensemble, 02 - ongoing (with violin, melodica, percussion and voice). ASITIS: Co-devised, performed and produced music theatre ‘The Secret Life of Hilary Fronde: the Most Astonishing Musician Never’. BAC and Lion and Unicorn Theatre (Click HERE for more info, and HERE to view Quartet for Tuning Forks (Quicktime movie). ASITIS was an inter-disciplinary artists’ cooperative (Hannah Marshall, Alison Blunt, Pete Flood, Lewis Gibson, Tassos Stevens, Julian Richards and many more artists) which devised and put on intriguing experimental events in London (Red Rose Finsbury Park, Southwark Playhouse and other venues) over a period of a few years.
