A fractured tale set within the exploitative child pornography industry. The story is revealed in flashes and glimpses from a child’s vantage point, through tabletop puppetry and shadow puppetry.
Based on a true story, the child puppets expressively convey both the sense of entrapment and the potential to transcend these circumstances.
A post-show discussion with the woman who survived these experiences follows the 45 minute show, after a short interval.
£10 / £8 conc - Little Angel Theatre will donate £2 from every ticket to NSPCC to help end these crimes against children.

6th, ‘BLEU’ First performance, Colchester Arts Centre
Director Luke Dixon, Choreographer Jane Turner, Musician Alison Blunt
An event that is part re-creation, part stimulation and part live art event, inspired by the ground breaking Paris performances of Yves Klein in 1960 where naked bodies were daubed in paint and used to print impressions on canvas.
Klein’s Anthropométries of the Blue Epoch revolutionised painting and performance.
With giant sheets of paper, plenty of blue paint, live music and improvised choreography, this performance will see artists making images from the human body,
performers moving with those images, and an installation created as the audience looks on. For more information: luke@theatrenomad.com
